commented on Sat 2 Jan 2021It is worth to watch Rosenberg's non-violent communication videos on YouTube to understand deeply how feelings bear in us and how they are not caused by somebody else.

commented on Tue 23 Feb 2021My initial thought is that I might be feeling irritable due to something that occurred at work earlier that day. How do I know if my irritation is triggered by the child's behaviour and not my own unrelated issue?
I'm also contemplating how this Mistaken Goal Chart relates to children with attachment issues. Does this approach work for these children?

This session is very useful for kindergarten teachers.
You made you angry. That is right.
Thank you!

commented on Thu 28 Apr 2022When I completed the task in the study guide I initially identified tmy step-daughter's 'mistaken belief' as 'Undue attention' based on my feelings of irritation, annoyance and guilt. However, once I followed the stepsand the process where I had to identify the coded message and choose an alternative way to respond, I realised that in fact the mistaken belief of my step-daughter is in fact "assumed Inadequacy". I made a decision about an alternative response and the outcome was favourable.
