commented on Mon 18 Jan 2021I will help children grow into competent children with curiosity questions instead of punishment and scolding.

commented on Sat 30 Jan 2021This is a very good role play. I am a new mom of a toddler girl. I already read the book and wanted to pursue this certification. I am going to persuade my husband to take this class too. Also a little sad to see there is no male in this classroom. It is important that both parents are following the positive discipline guidance so children are getting the consistent message.

When I shout to my kids I feel disabled and overwhelmed but when I try to be more calm , I feel that I control the situation

commented on Fri 28 Apr 2023I took part in a PD workshop 3 years agao, and i still remember how i was shocked at the moment i saw the picture they took for me during my role play as the parent standing on chair, which showed an angry face with a widely open shouting mouth and that was me!! That was how i looked when i shouted to my beloved daughter! I felt very sad about this, about how frightened she was aby that time...After 3 years, i determine to restart to learn these methods because recently i feel powerless when encountering my daughter's challenging behaviors even though i had leart it before...This is really a long way to go to be a better parent. I believe i can do this!
