Think Tank
I never cease to be amazed at the wonderful people who are attracted to do Positive Discipline work. They are such creative, fun, dedicated, and passionate people who really believe it is possible to create peace in the world through peace in homes and schools. Last week over 100 people who are either Certified Positive Discipline Trainers, Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educators, Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educators or Certified Positive Discipline Trainer Candidates from all over the US—and around the world came to Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. We had members from Canada, China, Colombia, Cameroon, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Mexico, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Switzerland.

For people who can't travel to one of the LIVE two-day workshops, we have DVD and Online Training for both Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way and Positive Discipline in the Classroom. These core workshops certify you to become a Positive Discipline Parent Educator or Positive Discipline Classroom Educator—the first step to becoming a Trainer. Some people take the two-day trainings (live or via DVD) and start teaching parenting classes and using Positive Discipline in their classrooms without joining the advanced training program. Others join the advance training program to eventually become trainers and facilitate our core workshops.
Conference
The Positive Discipline Annual Conference features presentations for educators, clinicians, and parents. They spend the day developing Positive Discipline tools for home and school, or to support others through coaching, consulting or counseling practice. This year Dr. Jane Nelsen was the keynote speaker.
