Cost: $449 Early Registration, available until 03/12/2025. $499 Regular Registration. Four (4) or more registering together take $50 off the fee. Limit 16 participants.
Facilitator Information: Becky Divinski is a Certified Positive Discipline Lead Trainer who has provided over 10 years of Positive Discipline trainings. These include: Positive Discipline for Early Childhood and Positive Discipline in the Classroom, to staff at schools, Positive Discipline classes, workshops, and talks to parents, and team-building workshops for adults using the Positive Discipline concepts and tools. She has applied the Positive Discipline principles at home with her own family over the years, which includes her 21-year-old daughter, who Becky has seen using the Positive Discipline skills obtained, in her own life away at college. Becky believes that a community approach to education benefits everyone and makes it easier to help families, schools, and organizations grow children into responsible, respectful, and happy adults.
Workshop Description: This interactive on-line live and streamed video workshop is designed for teachers, counselors, school staff and administrators who want an effective discipline approach that integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging student behaviors. Attendees will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator and will learn to:
- Develop a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches.
- Establish explicit classroom structures and procedures.
- Create an equitable classroom community based on mutual respect.
- Understand the motivation behind students' misbehavior and how to encourage positive change.
- Facilitate effective class meetings teaching social skills and problem-solving.
- Learn Positive Discipline/Adlerian Psychology for use in the classroom and school community.

The Positive Discipline Association is pleased to provide the opportunity for educators to earn graduate-level university credit. Whether you attend one of our live workshops or participate in an online workshop, you may choose to earn 1 to 4 non-degree credits. Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.
