13 YEARS OF TRAINING EXPERIENCE
(more than 480 training days, over 60 webinars and live sessions conducted)
A psychologist and coach. An imperfect mom who fell in love with Positive Discipline—a parenting approach filled with love and practical guidance. She dared to dream that every parent in Poland could have access to it, and every day, she works to make this dream a reality.
Since 2012, as a pioneer, she has been building the Positive Discipline brand in Poland. She created the website www.pozytywnadyscyplina.pl and the Positive Discipline Facebook page (60,000 fans).
In 2015, she successfully secured funding through the crowdfunding platform Polak Potrafi, leading to the publication of Positive Discipline by Jane Nelsen and The 52 Positive Discipline Tool Cards, which have since reached 48,000 homes.
On a daily basis, she designs and conducts training for parents and teachers (480 hours of in-person training annually), as well as webinars, live sessions, and online courses.
Since 2018, she has been training and certifying Positive Discipline educators (with approximately 156 certified professionals to date).
Her publishing house has translated or co-published several books in the Positive Discipline series, and is currently working on translating more titles.
The Positive Discipline series includes books for parents, card decks, as well as books and manuals for teachers and specialists, reaching thousands of people across Poland and Europe.
A coach and psychologist, her superpower is simplifying complex concepts.
Mom to Antek (15 years old), Zuzia (13 years old), and Romek (5).
Workshop Description:
Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way (developed by Lynn Lott and Jane Nelsen) is a research-based parent education program that provides a step-by-step approach to starting and leading experientially based parenting groups. This program stands alone or offers significant enhancement to any program. It provides experiential activities that reach the heart to inspire deeper understanding and change.
Participants in this workshop will:
- Learn research based effective tools and techniques for teaching parents how to use discipline that is kind and firm at the same time (non-punitive, non-permissive).
- Learn how to facilitate a parent class from the position of a non-expert.
- Gain practice with experiential exercises that help parents go beyond intellectual understanding to be able to respond in empowering ways that teach children.
- Learn how to use materials and activities in group settings, parenting classes and individual work with families.
