Parenting Class Description:
Join Sarah DeLuca, LCSW and Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, to learn practical tools to move away from yelling, time-outs, spanking, rewards, and punishments, and toward a more peaceful and connected relationship with your kids.
This workshop is experiential, so we will do exercises that help us better understand why our children act the way they do, and practice techniques that you can start using at home immediately. We will learn ways to effectively communicate with our kids and set limits and healthy boundaries while being kind and firm at the same time. Positive Discipline can be applied across the span of parenting, from toddlers through teens, and this workshop will be specifically geared toward parents of kids ages 2-9.
